GTA Online players can earn an absurd amount of money selling Special Cargo in GTA Online. However, this requires owning an office and a warehouse. This guide will assume that the reader already owns both, so it won’t recommend which ones to buy and instead focus on tips related to Sell Missions.
Some of these tips are related to changes in The Criminal Enterprises update. So some of this advice would not have been possible in the old guides. With that out of the way, it’s time to check out these five helpful tips for making money with GTA Online’s Special Cargo.
Five tips for GTA Online players looking to make some easy cash from Special Sell Goods Missions
1) Sell missions in an invite-only session
GTA Online players can choose to complete all of their Sell Missions in an invite-only session. The requirement to do this in a Public Session has been removed in The Criminal Enterprises update, greatly reducing how often a person will be chagrined trying to do Sell Missions.
We will make more money now because of this simple change. NPCs are far less threatening than other players, meaning GTA Online fans can now realistically complete all Sell Missions without too much trouble.
2) Improvements to delivery vehicles
Whether the player is in a single-player session or a public session, it is advisable to get the speed upgrade for the delivery boat. Otherwise, all sell missions involving the tugboat will be noticeably slower. Saving time is always valuable.
There are several upgrades here associated with having other players in a public session. The extra armor only applies to making vehicles more bullet resistant. It won’t change the number of explosives needed to destroy these vehicles, which means it’s not the best investment.
If one has money to burn, armor upgrades are useful to reduce the likelihood of NPCs or bullets from other players doing too much damage to these vehicles. If players want to be smart with their wealth, the Jammer and Bulletproof Tire options are much better investments for Airplanes and Brickade, respectively.
3) Use Lupe’s service
Lupe is an NPC introduced in The Criminal Enterprises update who will gather special cargo for the player to sell. To use his services, they must visit their warehouse in GTA Online and approach his character model.
They will receive a prompt that will allow them to pay her to get the goods. It’s usually $7,500, but some weekly updates bring that price down. Either way, it’s a good investment as it allows players to do other things while waiting as it at least gathers an extra crate for them.
If the player has more than one warehouse, he can do the same act with the generic warehouse staff. This can be easy to miss as this option to stock up on Special Goods requires physically visiting each warehouse location.
4) Checkout efficiency
If a player wants to manually collect Special Cargo, they should be aware that there are two things to think about when it comes to efficiency:
There are three types of Special Goods that players can generally obtain:
- $2,000 for a crate
- $8,000 for two cases
- $16,000 for three cases
If one wishes to save time, it is recommended to select the $16,000 option each time. If money is the only concern, choosing the $2,000 option will generate the most profit, but at the cost of time. As you might expect, choosing the middle option goes both ways.
5) Let Special Cargo inventory run out for maximum profit
The amount of money GTA Online players receive from selling Special Cargo increases with the amount of stock. There is no point in doing several smaller sell missions, as this will waste the player’s time. Doing a Mass Sell Mission is much faster.
It is possible to sell the contents of a Great Warehouse without other players. Keep getting as much stock as you can, then remember to sell it all at once for a huge payday.
The main reason for completing multiple Sell Missions is for bonuses, like the one found in the weekly update released on September 15, 2022.
