Autonomous Delivery Vehicle Innovator Expands Operations in Fort Worth – Welcome to the City of Fort Worth

Clevonthe innovator of autonomous delivery vehicles, announced the expansion of its global operations in North America with the opening of its Center of Excellence and US headquarters in the Fort Worth Mobility Innovation Zone , in the Alliance Corridor.

The company launched the next-generation autonomous delivery vehicle, the CLEVON 1as the first courier robot in Europe to offer autonomous delivery services on public roads, starting with DPD (part of LaPoste) and more recently working with clients such as DHL Express Estonia in Tallinn and IKI stores in Vilnius, Lithuania, delivering groceries, among others.

Clevon is expanding in the North American market as corporate pressure to offer on-demand, same-day or next-day delivery of goods and services continues to soar. Clevon’s unmanned autonomous delivery vehicles will operate on public roads and enable freight transportation to be more energy-efficient, cost-effective and scalable.

According to Fortune Business Insights, the global autonomous last-mile delivery market is expected to grow nearly five-fold to $57 billion over the next six years. This growth presents a significant challenge for global e-commerce companies and traditional retailers, who will need to differentiate and innovate their last-mile delivery solutions to compete in a market where on-demand delivery options dominate.
