DRONE DELIVERY CANADA AIR CARE PROJECT WITH HALTON HEALTHCARE & DSV CANADA COMMERCIALLY OPERATIONAL

The Care by Air project will allow deliveries on a defined route from DSV to Halton Healthcare Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital using SDC Drone Sparrow, its DroneSpot® take-off and landing zones and the Company’s exclusive FLYTE software. The solution will be used to transport a wide variety of health products, including medical isotopes for the treatment of cancer (provided by McMaster University) by cargo drones for fast and efficient delivery to Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospitalsituated in Oakville, ON.

This transport of vital medical supplies by drone is the first of its kind in Canada which will deliver medical supplies directly to a hospital for on-site diagnosis, treatment or care. The innovation of drone delivery will support the delivery of urgently needed goods, enabling the next horizon in healthcare delivery.

All transactions will be conducted in accordance with appropriate Canadian regulations. Flights will be monitored remotely by CDD of his Operations Control Center situated in Vaughan, ON.
