Körber acquires the mail and parcel business of Siemens Logistics

International technology group Körber has signed an agreement to acquire the global mail and parcel business of Siemens Logistics. Siemens Logistics provides advanced mail and parcel technology and software for the world’s leading logistics providers. With this acquisition, Körber significantly completes its supply chain offering.

The rise of e-commerce and changing consumer behavior continue to drive demand for automation and digitalization throughout the supply chain, and particularly in parcel processing. Parcel volumes are increasing rapidly. At the same time, there is an increasing need to cope with higher delivery demands and increased pressure for shorter transport times which the courier and parcel companies of Siemens Logistics are addressing with a range of products and solutions to support hubs and end-to-end network processes. .
